Hi I'm Chandler

Grew up in Utah. I enjoy Music and Wake Boarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I really enjoy going out with family or friends and spending a day out on the lake. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and anything to do with camping. I enjoy all sports. And if nothing is going then its video games. I love my family and they are the world to me. And my friends are right next to them. I am currently serving a two year mission in Minnesota.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I did what all people do before joining, that is read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is full of His doctrine. I received my confirmation. Every time I live the doctrine within its pages I feel and come to understand God. It has built my testimony of Jesus Christ. It brings peace to my soul and encouragement for the life to come.

How I live my faith

I currently am serving a Two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the state of Minnesota. I go about teaching random people the gospel of Jesus Christ, and watch and see how the spirit changes these individual's lives! I also do service for the locals whether at home or for community projects.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Family is the most important social unit on Earth. Without them God's plan for all his children to make it to him would cease. Families are here to help strengthen us as we grow and develop. We believe that through the restored priesthood that families can be sealed for time and all eternity, its not just till death do you part. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ was when He suffered and bled and died for our sins then three days later was resurrected. Jesus Christ was the only person to be perfect on earth and is the only one that will every be. Since he was perfect he was the only one that could sacrifice himself for the sins of all of God's children. In 1 Corinthians 15:22 it states, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Because of the Fall of Adam and Eve everyone will die in this life, but because Jesus Christ was perfect he was able to sacrifice himself for sin so that we may have the opportunity to return to God once more. However, since Christ paid for the sins of the world he established a law in which we show gratitude for his divine gift. That is we have faith in Christ, repent of our sins, be baptized and confirmed by one having authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, obey God’s commandments, receive sacred ordinances, and strive to become like Him. As we do these things through His Atonement, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father forever. Show more Show less
