Hi I'm Alia Earls

I'm a lover of smiles, laughter, food, and southern California. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I just completed my second year at Brigham Young University. I have recently accepted the call to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I will be serving in the Brazil Vitória Mission from October 2014 - April 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it brings me joy and gives me a purpose in this life. I wasn't very active in the church until I started high school. My parents were married in the temple, but they got divorced when I was very young. My brothers and I lived with my mother and visited our father every other weekend throughout most of my childhood. He would take us to church on the Sundays when we visited him and we would attend occasional activities. It wasn't until my older brother was about to enter high school and made the decision to attend Seminary and truly become an active member of the church that I truly became converted too. He started taking my younger brother and me to church every Sunday and I began to feel more comfortable and involved in the ward that we attended. By the time it was my turn to enter high school, I had become fully active in the church and made the decision to attend Seminary as well. That was one of the best decisions of my life and it has led me to where I am today. I just completed my second year at BYU and I recently received my mission call to serve in the Brazil Vitória Mission starting in October 2014. Being a member of this church and following the gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me so many lessons throughout my life, and I wouldn't be as successful and blessed and happy as I am today without the influence of the church. I have gained a strong testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel and I am eternally grateful for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the love I have felt from my Savior, my Heavenly Father, and other members of the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by continuously fulfilling my callings, studying and applying the principles and teachings of the gospel, and loving others. I am always striving to increase others' happiness, as well as my own.
