Hi I'm Garrett

Im a missionary in Chile Concepción. Im a football player at the United States Air Force Academy. Raised in VA. Im a Mormon.

About Me

Currently serving as a missionary in Chile. I play college football at the position of offensive line. I like to be outside, doesn't matter the activity. I enjoy a good movie and cooking also. hiking exploring you name it im there. I am the son of a single mom, so i got to see how a person can really sacrifice themselves watching her. She's the best! I know that my Saviour loves me and is looking out for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to me Mormon not because my family is part fo the church. We all come to a point when we have to stop borrowing the beliefs of our parents. I had serious questions about the truth of all thie things I had heard growing up, and I can honestly say I only did half of the things suggested. One day i decided to put it to the test. be 100% obedient to the commandments (to the best of my power) and really search the Book of Mormon to see if it was true. I understood what i meant if it was true, so that was the really etst. After a month of hard work and some repentance for not doing it sooner, I gained my own testimony of the Book of Mormon and the LDS church. I'm mormon because i but it to the test and Heavenly Father answered the sincere desire of my heart to know if all these things were true and necessary in my life!

How I live my faith

I try to make an effort in the little things. Reading the scriptures daily, having honest prayers daily, and participating actively with the church meetings and activities. I try to have a little more patience with other people and do things that only leave them with a good impression. Being a missionary is an awesome way to do all those things so I love it!

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Garrett
Members of the Church are everywhere, and they are usually never shy about what the believe. They are also those funny looking guys in the white shirts and ties called missionaries and you would make their day if they got the chance to talk to you. You can visit the local church building on any Sunday (or most week night matter of fact) to try to get in touch with any of these people. If you would rather set up an appointment over the phone, you can call 1-888-537-6600 and the missionaries will be directed to you. Show more Show less
