Hi I'm Tessa

I love horses, country music, cooking, singing, spending time with friends and family, and being in nature! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I want to own a horse ranch and do Equine Assisted Therapy. I want to help make the world a better place. I love reading in my hammock in the back yard! I love history! I love cooking and baking! I want to travel the world! I love singing while I work! My friends and family are some of the most important things in my life. I love chocolate! And I hate spiders!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that following the Commandments, counsel, and teachings given to us will keep me safe and happy. I know that if I live worthily and keep the commandments I will have the opportunity to be sealed to my family for Eternity and to return to live with my Heavenly Father. I have read the scriptures and have prayed to my Father in Heaven, asking to know if this church is true, and have received the answer that it is true. Through the trials and hardships I have faced in my life I know that I have never been alone. I know that my Saviour Jesus Christ has been by my side my entire life. Knowing this keeps me strong and keeps me going. John 14:18 says " I will not leave you comfortless: I will come‍ to you." I'm so grateful to have the Atonement in my life; to know that I can always repent and fix my mistakes. Knowing that Jesus Christ loved me so much that He was willing to take all of my sins upon Him and then to die for me lets me know that I am of worth, I am important, and that He loves me. I have felt so much joy and peace because of the Gospel. It gives my life meaning and purpose. It helps me shrug off all the little things and focus on what's most important. I know that this church is true. I know that my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ live and love me. I know that if I keep the Commandments and do my best in this life that I will have so much happiness in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I have been teaching children in my ward for nearly 2 years. Through teaching I have felt the love that our Heavenly Father has for every single one of his children. I love talking to my co-workers about my religion and answering their questions. I am also preparing, and looking forward to, serving a mission! I recently received my mission call and I am so very exited to serve the Lord and to teach His children about the love He has for them and the amazing blessings awaiting them in the gospel.
