Hi I'm Craig Monson

I grew up in So. Cal. I am a business analyst for a Christian University in Phoenix, AZ and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 beautiful girls, 1 active little boy, and husband to my amazingly patient and loving high school sweet heart. I enjoy working with wood and building things around the house in my spare time. In the passed I have enjoyed being a coach to my girls' volleyball team and playing volleyball with friends from church. I have recently discovered a love and excitement for Family History and enjoy discovering ancestors that I never knew about before.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church when I was 18 after an invitation from my girlfriend at the time to speak with the missionaries. One of the defining moments of my conversion was when I watched a video that Henry B. Eyring was in that spoke about Eternal Families, which was a new concept to me. I felt the holy ghost fill my heart with peace and joy and later prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was another testament of our Savior Jesus Christ and received the same feeling of peace and joy. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and am grateful to know who my Savior is and what he has done for the world.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching other's about Christ and the gospel principles that he taught. I have had the opportunity to teach gospel principle classes to the youth and also adults. Our family enjoys having dinner each night at the table hearing about what we have done each day and what we could do better. Our Family also sets aside time every Monday to have fun activities together and discuss topics like Christ's example, baptism, repentance, being kind to one another and Family History.
