Hi I'm Corwin

I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

About Me

I just graduated High School and I am planning on entering the Missionary Training Center in August. After my mission, I will be attending college with an unknown major in mind. I love building Lego sets and putting them up for display.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because Christ wants me to be. It's always been easy for me, because I grew up in the Church, and I am sensitive to right and wrong. I want to follow Christ because it's my deepest desire to hear Christ say to me, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." I can say my true conversion came after the trial of my faith to really use the Atonement of Christ. I use it as a reminder to me that I need to do my best to follow the commandments. When I slip, I use the Atonement to help me understand that I am forgiven and also to forgive myself so that I can move forward without being stuck in the past. After that, my devotion to Christ came and my testimony has been strengthened: and I can say for myself that I know this Church is true, the Atonement is real and it works. I believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and he did translate the Book of Mormon through the power of God. No one could be living their life outside the laws that God has set forth and have the power to translate. Prophets and Apostles speak the word of God, they have aligned themselves to God's will and speak for him so that we can be warned of future events, stop bad practices and try a little harder.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to remain worthy at all times. While I'm not perfect-- and it bugs me that I'm not perfect-- I keep doing my best to be the kind of person that others can look to for an example. I don't know if anyone is watching me, besides Heavenly Father, but that is what I do. To be an example for others and to be ready to help them should someone come to me for assistance.
