Hi I'm Mitch

I am from Salt Lake, Utah, I am a student and a runner. I am an avid outdoorsman, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was a top high school athlete and the top distance runner in my school. I excelled in cross country and specialized in the 1600 and 3200 in track. I was the captain of my cross country team and captain of the distance runners on the track team. I was a member of the national honor society and my school chamber choir as well.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have followed the commandments as taught in the Book of Mormon and the Bible I have found strength. In all of my trails I have been able to find solace and comfort by losing myself in the serving my community and studying the Book of Mormon. In my studies and service I have learned that there are great men and women everywhere in this world, but that each persons potential is only found when they are living the gospel of Christ to its fullest. I know that the the Church of Jesus Christ teaches the fullness of His gospel through revelation given through prophets and scripture. The Book of Mormon is the word of God given to us in this day to help us understand God's will and that Joseph Smith was an inspired man and a prophet of God. Thomas S. Monson is a prophet and has been called to lead us on the earth today. I know This to be the church of Christ restored to the earth as it was when Christ came as recorded in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, so I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I spend many afternoons cutting the grass and shoveling snow for the elderly and single women in my ward. I am going on a two year mission to teach the gospel and serve in Singapore.
