Hi I'm Collin

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attend North Carolina State University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing tennis and swimming. I go to college at NCSU with the intended major of Biochemistry. I am the youngest of 12 children and an uncle of 34.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and the prophet Joseph Smith Jr. translated the Book of Mormon with the help of God from an ancient record, the golden plates. I have read and reread the Book of Mormon and have felt the Spirit and its guidance while reading it. Every time you reread the Book of Mormon you look at what you are reading at a different angle and you get different answers than what you had gotten before, but these answers come from the exact same words. Also knowing that Jesus Christ suffered for our sins and knows what we are going through means that I can have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because he has felt what I feel and has been through the exact scenerios that make up my life. Praying to our Heavenly Father and knowing that he hears my prayers and answers them lets me know that I am a child of God and that I can and will return to live with him one day. When listening, reading, or watching a church event when the prophet speaks you can feel the Spirit! This feeling assures me that I am where I am supposed to be and that Thomas S. Monson is true and living prophet of God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was built on the the scripture, James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him" I have asked if this church was true and have faith without a doubt that it is true.

How I live my faith

My calling is a Ward Missionary and I aid the missionaries in however I can. I believe that acting in accordance to your faith is key. Also, that actions speak louder than words ever can.
