Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm from a family of four in Winchester Virginia, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love watching all sports. I played football and tennis in high school. I have also sung in multiple choirs. (I'm not that good it's just for fun.) And I also enjoy writing poetry and other kinds of creative writing. After my mission I plan on going to college and dual majoring in economics and accounting.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am happy when I follow it's teachings. Growing up in a religiously split household I faced choices from a young age of what religion I wanted to be. I was never forced to do anything, but as I grew older I found myself falling in love with my mother's church and choosing to attend it regularly. (Mormon church) By attending church and following the teachings I had learned there, of reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it, I had come to learn the The Book of Mormon was the word of God. I couldn't deny it. And I also couldn't deny the happiness I felt while reading and following it's teachings. This gospel makes me happy, and because I feel the spirit through it's teachings I am glad to say, I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church activities and planning social gatherings. I live it by going hometeaching to see how other local members are doing and how i can assist them. But most importantly I live my faith by trying to follow the teachings of the Savior as best as I can. Although none are perfect I find myself closer to the savior by doing these things. And in return I am happy.
