Hi I'm Christina Elyse

I love theatre. I love languages including ASL. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I study Acting at Brigham Young University. I will be serving in the Washington Vancouver Mission using American Sign Language for 18 months. I love this gospel and it is truly my life and my calling to be sharing it with those around me, both through my mission and through my talents in theatre and performance.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into a family that taught me the gospel, I've felt a strong conversion come over me in the past 2-3 years. I am a Mormon because I know how I feel when I read the scriptures and other good books. I know how I feel when I follow the guidance of Heavenly Father. I know the peace I feel when I try my best and use my talents for the betterment of my fellow man. I know the beautiful feeling I feel when I'm in the right place - at church, in classes, at BYU, with my good friends and family.

How I live my faith

I live every day waiting to go on my mission. I spend every day doing things that will get me closer there. I attend the temple regularly and follow the guidance sent to me by Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. I look to Him for every decision I have to make and have learned about patience and trust through this process. I know that I can always rely on Him to be there for me. I constantly try to learn more about myself, the Savior, and the gospel so that I may grow and continue to better myself in the best ways.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?
