Hi I'm Jackson Bishop

I was born and raised on a farm in Jonesburg, Missouri. I have traveled all around America playing baseball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children. I grew up in small town America in Jonesburg, Missouri. I have worked on a thousand acre farm my whole life. My learning experiences and daily life on a farm have shaped me into who I am today. I love to hunt, fish, and be in the outdoors. I grew up with no television, so I found every possible activity to do outside. I am a very optimistic person. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I have played baseball my whole life. My travels in baseball have taken me all over America, to hundreds of colleges, and many new cultures! I will be attending Brigham Young University, on a full tuition and books scholarship, and playing baseball for the Cougars. Right after I get done serving a two year mission, in Salt Lake City Utah, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

Being apart of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought me a happiness that I will never lose! I am so glad that my loving parents have taught me the teachings of the church ever since I was born. It has shaped me into the man I am today. Attending church and personal prayer has kept me in key. I attended a high school with four LDS students out of four hundred people. Going to church, learning, and keeping the standards and morals has helped me stay on the straight and narrow in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the act of service and bringing joy to people around me. I love committing a random act of kindness and watching peoples eyes light up and seeing the smile that follows. Serving a mission is practically two full years of constant service. I can not wait till I'm on my mission and I will get to devote every second of every day to serve god, other people, and forget about myself. This will be the greatest feeling in the world.
