Hi I'm Agon

I'm a designer. I like weird. I'm a Mormon

About Me

As a child, I grew up in various homes and lived with many different people. Being able to observe their differences so close at a young age instilled a sense of acceptance in me and opened my horizon. To me, different or weird does not mean bad. That's why I love discovering new things about life, the arts, science and culture. I love good movies, Drum and Base music and books that reveal the many sides of human nature. Studying design just seemed like the right thing to do. It allows me to give free reign to the unconscious and I love the idea of solving problems by creating something new. I think creating is a spiritual thing, no matter what religion you look at, being a creator is always an attribute of God.

Why I am a Mormon

The person and teachings of the prophet Joseph Smith always rung a strange cord in me. I felt somehow connected to him. As I studied his teachings and the Book of Mormon I found plausible answers for most of my questions about live. Slowly I grew closer to God and through prayer I eventually developed a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To me, this relationship is somewhat of life line. As long as this connection to Christ is stable, I feel peace, strength and confidence. Somehow, all things in my life seem to turn out positively and I experience great personal growth. I wouldn't want to miss this empowering source of strength and light in my life. That's why I'm a Mormon, striving to live by all the principles that Jesus Christ taught by himself and trough his prophets. Living your life like that just lifts you to a whole newlevel.

How I live my faith

Human nature is a fascinating thing and nowhere you see it displayed more clearly as in the holy scriptures. A big part of my live is studying those books and learning from them, trying to apply the principles I learn in my own life. Right now I'm serving as a full time missionary in England, where I get to help others to discover the scriptures that mean so much to me. Back home in Switzerland I was a Sunday school teacher and I still think teaching is one of the greatest things to do. Especially teaching about the gospel, since it's not just information you try to convey but you can feel the spirit of God there, inspiring the whole discussion and enlightening the minds of those you are with.
