Hi I'm Maito

I was an after-school child art instructor in Japan... Now, I'm a full time missionary in the Japan Tokyo South Mission.

About Me

I from Shizuoka in Japan. Therefore, I'm Japanese. But sometimes people mistake me for a foreigner, because my mother is Filipina. Now, I'm a full time missionary in the Japan Tokyo South Mission. I was an after-school child art instructor. I love to play and watch a soccer and baseball and basketball. I am fan of the Japanese national soccer team. I like drawing pictures and then gifting them to children.

Why I am a Mormon

My family structure is unique.because my father and grand father is Japanese, my mother is Filipina, my young sister has Down's syndrome. I was born a member of church. My mother served in the Philippines Cebu Mission. I was a child who did not understand about Faith and the gospel. But my friend who was active in church, helped me by going with me to Church activities. Through those church activities I began to notice that my friends, people the same age as me, had faith. Together we read the Book of Mormon, attended youth activities, sang, and prayed. They helped me to come to know who Christ is, and who I am. I am a child of God. So,I went on a mission in Tokyo south mission.

How I live my faith

Every day I read from the Book of Mormon and Pray in the morning and before going to bed. It is my "Daily Bread." It keeps me strong. Make relationship the church friend is Important.
