Hi I'm Chandler Tew

I'm a red headed stepchild, a basketball player, and a lover of life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a small town kid in Idaho so that is really the only life I know. I love the outdoors and everything in them. Fishing, camping, and being in the mountains are only a couple of the things I like to do. When I'm not outside, well, I am defienelty inside doing some of my other favorite activities, like sleeping, eating, and playing any kind of game. Basketball is my sport, but I love them all. I'm also an aspiring bass guitarist (not really). I've done theatre and the works, choir, and just about anything our little school provided. I enjoy computers and web design. Right now I have the opportunity to serve a volunteer mission as a representative of Jesus Christ and His church, The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ lives. I know that He walked on this earth to teach us about a perfect plan that our loving Heavenly Father created for us. I know that He came down here to give unto us an example... An example that I strive to follow. I'm a Mormon because I know that the fullness of the teaching of Jesus Christ, including this amazing plan that our Father in Heaven has for us, is only found in His church, which is the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. I have lived these teaching all of my life and I know that these teaching are not of man, but of God. I am a Mormon because only through the fullness of Christ's gospel can I strive to become like my greatest role model... Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is super important to me. Jesus Christ came to the earth to teach us what we could do to become like Him and our Heavenly Father and what to do to be able to return and live with them again. So, I try to live as Jesus Christ did and one thing he always did was that he served everyone unselfishly. I participated in the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) and received my Eagle Scout. Boy Scouts helped me be a contributor to my community by giving selfless service to help and enrich the lives of others. I participated in my church youth group where I was able to also give of myself to help other people. Right now I have the opportunity to serve a volunteer mission, which I pay to go on, to teach everyone about Jesus Christ and help them learn more about him so that they can become better, happier, and help others.
