Hi I'm Austin Kropushek

I run Track and Cross Country. I'm a Missionary in Ireland and Scotland. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Utah pretty much all my life. In the same house too. Growing up I was always into sports. Not a one of them stuck all through Elementary school (Primary school). When I got into High school, my Mom said I should try Cross Country, like my oldest sister. I was sceptical. Long story short, Cross Country led to Track and I have been running every year since. I run the mile (1600 Meters) the 800M, the 300 meter Hurdles and the Steeple Chase- a long distance hurdle event-My favourite event! Most of my really close friends have come from the decision I made to run. Beyond running, I love reading, Any outdoors activity-just not fishing, and listening to: Filmscores, Yellowcard, Scott and Brendo, -(Can't Stop, Won't Stop) and Angels and Airwaves. I hope to learn the piano when I return home in June of 2016 and be able to play some of this music once I get back!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this is God's restored church. Because I know he wants the best for me, and knows me as an individual. I've felt closer to Him here, the ''Mormon'' Church, than anywhere else. I'm a Mormon because I've asked God if this Church-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- is true, and He answered me-- An undeniable and Indescribable feeling of surety and feeling like I'm in the right place. He will answer you too, if you ask. I'm not a Mormon because I've been raised as one, if it wasn't true, I would have found what was. But it is true. I know it. You can know too. I love when people ask me why I'm a Mormon, because then I can share what I know. I know this is the true church of Christ, restored on the the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what's right, regardless the circumstance. At least, I'm trying to. I'm not perfect, but I know that every major win is comprised by the every day battles, and the more little battles I can win, the more confident I feel when the big trials and temptations come. Every day I "Try a little harder to do a little better." it's not easy, but I know it's worth it. These little battles are as simple as not fighting with my siblings or being nice to anyone and everyone you meet. Growing up as a Mormon I had the opportunity to know from a very small age that God loves me, and He knows me. Now as a young adult, I have the opportunity to share my faith with the people in Scotland and Ireland.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Austin Kropushek
Pray about and read the Book of Mormon. When you read the Book, ponder deep within yourself ''Could this book be true?'' and '' What will I do if it actually is true, and from God?'' Then pray! Ask your father that resides in Heaven if this book is true. Ask him if Joseph Smith was a prophet. I add my testimony to Moroni's on page 529 of the Book of Mormon: By the power of the Holy ghost that speaks through your feelings, you can and will know the truth of all things. I know He will answer you, because He answered me. And where's the harm in giving it a shot? It could only bless your life. Show more Show less
