Hi I'm Noah

I have a deep passion for the scriptures and love to learn and teach the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have recently graduated from high school and am currently preparing to go on a mission to Canada! I love to spend quality time with my friends and family. Growing up I played many sports but the three I still do are rock climbing, snowboarding, and running. After I get back from the mission, I will be going to college to study a mix of neurology, psychology, and some mathematics. Not only did I graduate from high school, but also from seminary, and in doing so it has blessed my life immensely.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church was great because it set in me the principles and beliefs I still hold to today, but even those born into the church still have to choose, for themselves, whether what they have been taught is true. There was a period in my life where I questioned everything, my parents, my teachers, and my religion. During that time there was alot of confusion and uncertainty, I knew the things that I wanted to do but knew i shouldn't, and knew those things I should do but didn't want to. After a very long time of mental, emotional, and spiritual battling, it was made clear to me by the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is the only true church. The Book of Mormon doesn't add another 532pgs to the massively complex Bible, it simplifies it. After studying both and searching my best to prove (or by happen-chance disprove) the validity of the Book of Mormon, there is only one answer repeated answer, that THIS IS TRUE. How could an uneducated farm boy (Joseph Smith) create such a masterpiece of spiritual canon? Something that is proven by historians and linguists alike in our modern day. For such, if the Book of Mormon is true, then the beautiful teachings within it are also true. I bear you my testimony that I know the Book of Mormon is true, that the prophet Joseph Smith restored the Gospel in our dispensation, and that God loves each and every one of us.

How I live my faith

The major way that I live the Gospel is through personal scripture study and prayer. The combination of the two brings great peace into my life, making the days I spend here on earth a joy to live. There is so much that can be learned from our Savior and the words he and his prophets have spoken, there is a very good reason the word GOSPEL means the good word!
