Hi I'm Jenny

I am a nanny & a nurse, I'm a convert, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21, I was converted in April 2014 from the evangelical-christian denomination. I came to the church from missionaries knocking at my door, Heavenly Father knew I needed them and this restored gospel in my life. I graduated nursing school in 2013, & still continuing my education. I like to hangout with my friends, spend time with my dad and sister, play games, I love to laugh, help other people, watch funny movies, go to the Temple, and create stylish, modest outfits. I have a strong desire to serve others :)

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church is true. I was baptized into an evangelical church in January of 2013. I slowly lost my way and fell away from that church. I'd still attend but I knew there was something missing, I felt like my days were just passing with no true purpose. I felt alone, yet surrounded by people daily. The missionaries knocked at my door in March of 2014, and when I talked with them, I didnt feel so alone. I agreed to continually meet with them, and everything they taught me I didnt have a doubt in my mind. It all made sense. I had already had somewhat of a testimony of Jesus Christ, but this restored Gospel opened my eyes to the full truth of Heavenly Fathers real plan for us. I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know Joseph Smith restored the Gospel and was a Prophet of God. I know we have Living Prophets and Apostles today that speak the words of our Father in Heaven. No one forced me to believe any of this. I had to build my own testimony and understanding of all of this. I prayed about it and I know about it. I am a 21 year old girl in this world with free choice. My family isn't in this church so my church family is who I relate to most. I know that one day I will be able to be married in the Temple and be sealed for eternity to my future husband, and I get to create a family and have my children grow up with this, and that makes me so extremely happy. My testimony gets stronger and stronger every day as I continue to learn and that will never end.

How I live my faith

I love helping out with the activities from church and I LOVE to join the missionaries on the lessons they have when they invite me. I love going to baptisms of converts because I am a recent convert myself, so to see someone make that awesome decision always is so amazing, and its also a reminder to myself. I would love to serve a mission and share the Gospel and let others know the things I was once unaware of. I live my faith by sharing my testimony to my friends, I constantly try to be a good example to others and always try to do my best every day even though none of us can be perfect, when we try it is always worth it
