Hi I'm Craig

I grew up in Sydney. I love my family. I enjoy table tennis, playing my soprano saxophone as well as singing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Sydney playing soccer and cricket in my local club teams. I enjoy singing and playing music and this has been a positive influence throughout my life. I have studied business and marketing and work in the wood products industry in sales, marketing and associated areas. I enjoy learning about my family and ancestors and have an English and Scottish heritage. I am a tragic for the sport of table tennis and have worked hard in recent times on improving my musical sight reading. I am married to a beautiful faithful woman and we are parents of 3 beautiful children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have not experienced anything comparable to the joy the comes from quietly and earnestly striving to live my religion. Furthermore I have a deep belief that we are all children of an eternal, loving Heavenly Father. I know he has placed spiritual guide posts on this earth to bless all mankind. I know the Book of Mormon, the Holy Bible and other scripture are some of these vital guide posts. I also know that latter day prophets and apostles stand as other guideposts for mankind and that those who would apply simple faith and test their words and counsel can subsequently know of the doctrine themselves. I have tested their words through my sincere prayer, application of faith and earnest endeavor. I stand as a witness of the blessings that have come as a result. I also know God is no respecter of persons and would that all men might follow these guide posts he has placed on earth to bless all his children. I love the promises available to my family through our membership in this Church and the sacred covenants and blessings it administers that we might, through our faithfulness, live together as an eternal family. Ultimately I have deep belief and gratitude that all things are made possible through God's son, Jesus Christ. He sacrificed all he had for me. I know he lives today and seeks our eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I enjoy friendships with many people both inside and outside the Church. I have had a very blessed life and feel a deep joy when I consider the extent of the blessings I receive through striving to follow the teachings of our Saviour Jesus Christ. I strive to live both privately and publicly with a deep commitment to the Christian values I have grown to love as a member of this Church. I strive to love my wife, like Christ loved His Church and I endeavor to teach my children through precept and example this same way of life. My children have attended an Anglican college most of their growing years and my wife works with the college as a piano accompanist to their choir of which my 3 children have been an active part. We strive to create and retain warm friendships with individuals and families at the college and others around us who are not of our faith, but who also seek to love and serve God. I respect them deeply. I strive to help my family and many friends in the Church to stay strong spiritually and find that inescapable joy that comes from following the example of Jesus Christ and through serving others. I feel it a humble privilege to serve in my local area of the church in caring for the poor and needy and also reaching out to those in need of emotional and spiritual strengthening. I want to empower those around me to fulfill their greatest potential.
