Hi I'm Kimberly

"I'm an Arizona Native. I'm a First Grade Teacher.I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I love to be out in nature. Hiking is one of my favorite hobbies. I feel Heavenly Fathers love for me as I enjoy all of his beautiful creations. I love to sing. I know that good music brings me nearer to my Savior.I can worship him through song.Since I was young I have loved to read good books. I believe reading expands vocabulary, promotes creativity, and exercises the imagination. Reading also helps us obtain knowledge and teaches us truth. The most important book to me that has taught me the most and I cherish above all is The Book of Mormon.I also believe that children are miracles. I have three adorable nephews, and one niece. They mean the world to me. We can learn a lot from little children Christ said "Suffer the little children to come unto me." Children are innocent and perfect. I see that every day in my job as a First Grade teacher. I am single but I am not alone. I know the Savior is by my side. He loves me and you. He is my brother, my redeemer and my friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that God lives and loves me and you. I am Mormon because I know families are forever. This life is not the end. I am Mormon because I believe the Bible and The Book of Mormon are the word of God. I am Mormon because I know that Christ came to Earth lived and died for all of us to atone for our sins. Because of him we can be forgiven of our sins. Christ overcame death because of this all of us will be resurrected. I am Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings light and hope into my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me so much happiness and that is why I am a Mormon. Christs message of happiness is for everyone including you.

How I live my faith

I love service. It helps me become selfless instead of selfish. I feel closer to my Savior when I serve. Christ was the perfect example of giving of oneself. I served an eighteen month mission for the church in Salt Lake City. I still feel like a part of me is in Salt Lake.I love the people and I loved getting to them and serving them. I love the friendships that have come as I have lived my faith. Visiting the elderly and sick. Singing in choirs. Planning activities for the women in my ward. Teaching lessons to the youth and adults. I sometimes felt that the lessons I prepared were meant just for me. I learned so much as I prepared to teach on a weekly basis. I was able to go to Girl's Camp and help the girls with crafts. That was an experience I won't forget. I attend institute every week. I grow spiritually as I study scripture. I attend Church every week. I go to the Temple on a regular basis.I read my scriptures and pray on a daily basis.
