Hi I'm Karl

I’m an American, a grandfather, a Consultant/Career Coach, a veteran and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

My profession has been Human Resources. My career objective has been to assist as many people as possible. Over the years, as an executive in HR, I hired many employees into the organizations where I worked. Currently, I am an Executive Cheerleader - a Career Coach with many years of counseling experience. I have assisted thousands of clients who were laid off in understanding how to efficiently find their next career opportunity. As a result, they have successfully landed new positions and in many cases, now earn more than they did in their previous job. Music has been a big part of my life and I appreciate all kinds. I play the piano, love to sing. I listen to the oldies as well as new artists. My wife and I attend the theater and musical concerts whenever we can. My photography skills improve as I continue being an amateur photographer, I enjoy capturing the moment. I love to learn and enjoy attending classes. I have a goal of learning two new facts everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people around the world have wondered if everyone who has lived on earth will have a chance at salvation. Others ask about what happens after we die. These questions and many others are answered through the revealed truths taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As I have researched the doctrines of churches, I have found that in many churches, the doctrine of salvation is nebulous and unclear. However, the doctrine of salvation, as taught in the LDS church is bright, significant and understandable. There is a plan for all of God’s children. The members of the LDS church are encouraged to seek out their ancestors. Members assist their ancestors by performing sacred proxy ordinances in the temple. I have a testimony of this truth. Ancestors have the opportunity to accept the teachings and sacred ordinances performed in their behalf. As I have developed more faith, and found the spiritual answers to my questions, my testimony has become stronger. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ has had a profound and deep impact upon my life. I’m not perfect but I’m trying to be a better person. The church encourages and strengthens me.

How I live my faith

One of my hobbies is Family History. I love genealogy. Someone said: Genealogists live life in the Past Lane. I'm certain my ancestors must be in a Witness Protection Plan. Only a genealogist regards a step backwards as progress. During this past year, I was asked to be a resource for those who want to research their family history and their ancestors. I have really enjoyed assisting others in finding more information about their loved ones who have passed on. There are so many genealogy related websites as well as other sources that can be reviewed. It doesn’t take much effort to get started and these websites help tremendously in the researching process. I’m very excited about using the Internet to find additional information. As I share instructions and methods for using genealogy software and websites, I let people know that I know Joseph Smith was called by God to re-establish the church Jesus Christ organized. Because of the great apostasy, many of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the organization of His church were lost. Many people have been confounded and confused about many basic teachings of our Savior. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ has returned to the earth and I have the great blessing of belonging to His church. Helping others is central to how I live my faith. When I serve, I feel closer to my Heavenly Father.
