Hi I'm Rina Grover

Hi, I'm Rina. I love my family. I'm studying Child Development at BYU-I. I'm going to the Thailand Bangkok Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to BYU-Idaho for 2 semesters. I love to play volleyball and play the piano. I am going to the Thailand Bangkok Mission where my mom is from, where my dad and oldest brother served, and where my brother's girlfriend is going to serve. I love the people there already and I can't wait to share more of the gospel to them and the joy it brings to my family's life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church so it was fairly easy for me. When I really wanted to decide for myself if the church was true, it took more time than I thought. Both of my parents are converts so I relied a lot their strength and faithfulness. I looked to them as my biggest examples. I truly came to know for myself if the church was true when I went to Seminary. My teachers were truly inspired and helped my testimony grow. I knew for myself that God lives and that He loves all of us. Because of Him, I came to read and study the scriptures to know the truthfulness of the gospel and know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God. I have learned from all prophets and apostles in this time that they are called of God and are on the earth to lead and guide us. I am truly grateful for my family and their strength and I know that I can live with them for eternity.

How I live my faith

I have loved being a nursery/primary teacher. I love to work with the little children because they teach me so much more than I could ever teach them. Some friends and I served in Seminary council and delivered treats to people who were having a hard time with a nice note and a scripture phrase. We had so much fun doing it and I love to see how happy they were after they received the treats.
