Hi I'm Morgan

I love to run. I run competitively for a division one college team. And I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest in my family and the only girl. I have five little brothers and they are always on the go. I just finished my first year of college and had so much fun! I was able to walk-on to the cross country and track team for my college of choice and had the amazing opportunity to travel all around the country competing with my team. This summer I will be leaving to serve on a mission for the church, and although I know I'll miss my team and my family I cannot wait to share the gospel with the people of Chile!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church and both of my parents were born and raised in the church. But at a young age I knew that I had to decide if this was what I believed, and that I couldn't rely on the testimony of my parents. So I read The Book of Mormon myself and prayed. I wouldn't say I was converted all at once but rather "line upon line" (Isaiah 28:10). Every line in The Book of Mormon to be exact, as I read I knew the words were true and what I had been taught from my youth was true. I've acted upon that knowledge and have allowed it to bless my life in so many ways. I know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God, that we are lead by a modern day prophet, and that this gospel is true!

How I live my faith

In my ward up at college I was a teacher. Throughout the week when I wasn't at school or at practice I would be preparing lessons to teach the women in my ward on Sundays. I loved that this allowed my to get to know the gospel more and gave me the chance to share what I had studied with others around me.
