Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Utah. I love photography and drawing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been blessed to grow up with seven siblings, all of which I love very much. Growing up, we have always been very close. For my hobbies, ever since I was a kid I loved drawing. As I got older I gained a passion for photography. Along with these two passions, I have always loved science, whether it be physics, biology, anatomy, astronomy, or zoology; if it is science, I will probably love it. I am going to go into college and hopefully go into photography and some area of science. I am also active with the Boy Scouts of America and have earned my Eagle. I love being outdoors and love to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into an active family in the church. Growing up, my parents taught me how I should live my life, and I have done the best I can to live my life as I know I should. There have been times when I have done things I know I shouldn't have, as all people do throughout their lives, but I know that I should always be doing my best to follow the example of the Savior. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that it was written by prophets long ago and was translated by Joseph Smith. I have read it and have felt the spirit confirm the truthfulness of it to me. I am thankful for the atonement of Jesus Christ so that even when I make mistakes I will again be able to be clean. I am thankful for a prophet who worthily guides and directs the church. I am thankful for my family and friends and the great examples they have been to me. They have helped me keep the standards I have set for myself and make me want to always better myself. I am thankful for the direction the gospel has given me in my life, and for the help the spirit has given me when I am in need. I know that if I do my best to live right in this life, I will be blessed to live with my family and Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

All my life I have gone to church on Sunday, and I really enjoy going. It has never been a question whether or not I will go to church. I have made many great friends and had many great experiences while going to church. I love the feeling the spirit that comes as I attend church regularly. Each month, I also have to opportunity to go hometeaching to families in my ward. It feels good to give them a lesson and help them with anything they may be in need of. Along with actively going to church each Sunday, I have had the opportunity to attend seminary each week during school. Seminary has been a great way to start the day feeling the spirit before going to school; seminary is what really gets me through my day. The teachers are great and I learn so much because of the lessons that have been prepared. I always do my best to follow the standards set by the church and I never complain that they are unfair. I believe that by doing what I know is right I will be able to come closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior. Following the Savior has helped me become the person I am today, and I know that I will be blessed for doing so.
