Hi I'm Tim

I belong to a big family. I volunteered at a wildlife museum. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a regular kid from the U.S.A. I graduated from high school and plan to attend college after I serve a full time mission. I was one of a few members of the church at my school. It was difficult living a different lifestyle than everyone else, but we stood out for good. I really enjoyed studying biology because it explains how things work and history because it tells us why things happened. I was a docent at a wildlife museum during high school. I was able to handle some of the animals while I taught people about them. My family consists of two loving parents and eight kids, of which I am the youngest. My first niece was born when I was ten. Basically, I have a big family and love spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I grew up in a home where we read scriptures, prayed, and went to church. I am glad my family helped me build these habits, but when I was about 14 years old I began to really want to understand why I did them. I now know why. I know because God told me through His Spirit, after I studied the scriptures and asked Him. I also know that I belong to Jesus Christ's restored church that He reorganized in these modern days. I know that the Book of Mormon was brought to us through great sacrifice because it contains truth that we all need. God has a plan for us and wants us to be happy. He has given us all that we need to return to live with Him and it resides in His church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to get better each day. I avoid movies, books, and music that take my focus away from God. I read the Book of Mormon every day to learn how I can better bring myself closer to God. Once a month my dad and I visit several families from our church congregation. One lady we visit is a widow that likes to play card games like UNO with us. I am also a Family History consultant in my congregation. This allows me to serve others as they search for their ancestors.
