Hi I'm Spence

I'm a husband and a father. I'm an obstetrician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i grew up in Utah and served a mission for my church in Canada. After living in several different states from Virginia to Alaska, my wife and I returned to Utah to raise our family. My wife and I have had 3 children who have now become young adults. I love having a job where I assist in helping to plan and create families.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints contains the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I have felt peace and the love of my Heavenly Father as I have prayed to Him, read His word through the Bible and the Book of Mormon and served Him and His children. Anyone can gain that same witness by studying the Book of Mormon and asking God if it is true.

How I live my faith

One of the best things about being a Mormon is the opportunity to help others. We are encouraged and taught to do everything we can to serve others. I have helped neighbors move in and out, shoveled snow, mowed lawns, packaged food and cleaning products and other supplies to send to third world countries, worked in thrift shops, organized scouting events, helped in Eagle Scout projects, taught Sunday School, delivered sermons, cleaned church buildings, weeded gardens and so much more. Every act of service is of equal importance since we are taught that when we are serving others, we are only serving God.
