Hi I'm Brett

I grew up in california and I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am currently serving in Dayton, Wyoming in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission. I went to a year of college at BYU-Idaho before starting my mission. My major is accounting. I love playing sports especially basketball, football and volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the mormon church and have always attended church. Being in the church my whole life I have been able to see how mormons live and the great blessings my family has received. I can see the difference between how I have been raised compared to those whose families are not centered on Christ and his gospel. I know as my parents have taught me to be christlike it has influenced my life in the best way. Truly caring for others and always trying to be a better person. To be in the mormon church it really takes your own testimony. My faith is not standing on my parents. It certainly strengthens it but I have gained that sincere desire to continue to be in this church by reading the Book of Mormon and praying to Heavenly Father and asking him if it is true. I got that answer through the Holy Ghost. My Father in heaven told me I have always known it is true.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a missionary. I go out and serve those in the community. I teach others about Christ and how they can follow him. I love helping others and doing anything I can to help them out whether it is doing a project at home like painting or working on the yard or helping others move.
