Hi I'm Tanner

I was raised in Washington, I love the outdoors, I'm passionate about music and theatre, I love to laugh and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved all things outdoors, from mountain biking and camping to hiking and fishing. The arts are another big part of my life. I have been singing for a long time and in my senior year of high school had my first experience in theatre in my high school's musical, and I fell in love with that too. Working hard in school and gaining knowledge is very important to me, and following my service as a missionary I will attend college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love to be happy. I was raised in the church, and I have had times when I have lived my faith fully, by attending and participating in church, reading my scriptures, serving in my family and community, but also times when I was lacking or not doing many of those things. I find more joy in life when I am living my faith and that is a strong testament to me of its truth. More than just that, I have experienced real change in my life through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that following Christ is the best way to find true happiness and fulfillment in this life, and that is why I continue to strive to follow Him every day.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church I have had many opportunities to participate at church and in my community. I have served as a leader of other boys my age in church, helping to plan service projects and activities together and learning together at church. In my high school I was an officer for the Key Club, a community service oriented club, and that allowed me to put my passion for helping others to work in meaningful ways. I live my faith simply by going to church because I always want to be there, and doing all I can to help people who are struggling or just need a kind word.
