Hi I'm Karen

I am a mom, a grandma, a piano teacher, a landlord. And now I am a missionary.

About Me

I am a mom, a grandma, a piano teacher, a landlord, a reader, and now a missionary for my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I have many ancestors who were pioneers and crossed the plains to settle in Utah. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I was in fact converted to the church when I was attending early morning seminary myself, when I was 13 years old. We were studying the Book of Mormon and I felt the spirit as we learned about the people in the book. We have a prophet at the head of our church. And many great men who give us council on how to live our lives better.

How I live my faith

I am the organist and choir director in my ward in Boise. At least I was until we went on a mission. My husband and I are going to be supervising seminary classes and institute classes in the Duluth Stake. We will serve in M n for 18 months. Then we will return to our regular life in Boise, ID. Serving in the church has always been a big part of my life. I also attend the temple pretty regularly.
