Hi I'm Shirley Frances

I was born and raised in Lancaster PA, I am a convert of 36 years, I am a high school graduate, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 3, 1 of whom is biological, a grandmother of 1, and a friend to many. I like to listen to music, eat all Spanish food, especially rice and beans, and to serve those around me. I enjoy being out doors, and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of Christ's church has helped me be patient with others. I know that embracing the Gospel has helped me have more Christ-like love. Before I was a member, I had a hard time forgiving people and letting things go. As I have grown in the Gospel, I have learned to love the way Christ did, to see people the way He did, to treat others as He would, and to act in a way that is pleasing to Him.

How I live my faith

I was baptized on December 8, 1978. I live my faith by giving to others. I share my faith with them, I give them my time and attention, because I know that is what the Savior would have done. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I try to be more like Christ every day. As I have served and come closer to the women of our congregation, I have come to see how I can expand my way of serving within my circle of influence.
