Hi I'm Isaac Lewis

I am from Seattle, WA. I enjoy spending time with family, working out, playing sports, and writing songs.

About Me

All my life I have been involved in sports. I've always liked being on a team and working with other people. Sports has taught me many things, but my faith and experiences have taught me so much more. Besides my faith, family is the most important aspect of my life. I love living, and do my best to remain optimistic even when the times get hard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it enhances my life and helps me put things into perspective. Knowing that I can be together with my family forever makes me happy, and that through Christ I can change into the kind of man my father and heaven wants me to be. I am also a Mormon because it helps me make better decisions. Our decisions determine our destiny. I want to make the best possible decisions while here on earth. I want to become the best version of myself, and I know that's only possible through following Jesus Christ and keeping the commandments.

How I live my faith

By doing my best to be genuine in what I do. Loving other people and serving them to the best of my ability, studying the scriptures, praying, spending time with my family, and keeping the commandments.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Isaac Lewis
No, serving a full time mission is a decision that we make. While it is encouraged that young men serve a mission, they don't have to. Jesus wants us to follow him and become like him. Serving a mission allows young men to find themselves, develop Christlike attributes, and serve those around them. There is much joy, happiness, and peace that comes from devoted discipleship and sharing the gospel with others. Full-time missionaries are not paid, and serve everywhere around the world for approximately 18 months to 2 years. Show more Show less
