Hi I'm Nathan

I'm an outdoorsman, I'm a musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah Valley as the third of four boys in my family. I come from a very large extended family that is very faithful in the LDS Church, so I was blessed to have been raised in the gospel. I love being outside among God's creations whether it be camping, hiking, water skiing, or star gazing. I'm a musician and I play the saxophone, flute, and clarinet. Although I'm still young, I've had opportunities to share my musical talents with people all over the world! Currently I'm serving a two year LDS Mission in the Philippines. When I return, I plan to continue my study of music at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because when I try to follow the teachings of the Church (which are Christ's teachings) I am happy! Although I was raised to live the gospel, there have been times in my life where I did not follow the teachings and I was miserable. By coming to Jesus Christ, repenting of my sins, and trying my best to follow His commandments, I have experienced peace, comfort, and joy that can't be found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be exactly obedient to the things my Heavenly Father has asked me to do. This means I attend all my church meetings, participate in youth service groups, and read from the scriptures and pray everyday. I try to love people and see them as Heavenly Father would see them. I try to become more like Jesus Christ daily, and even though I make mistakes, I know Christ will forgive us if we just ask and continue to do our best to follow him.
