Hi I'm Katrina

I'm a daughter. I'm a ballerina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary, but I have other interests as well. Before I became a missionary, I was a dance major at a large school in Utah. I love ballet as well as many other forms of dance. I love inspiring art and music. One of my favorite artists is Regina Spekter; I find her music lively and just plain FUN! I love nature and the mountains. I enjoy exploring and searching for inspiring places around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have felt the Spirit testify to me that the gospel of Jesus Christ resides in this church. Through the principles of the gospel I know that I can be with my family forever. As I have lost important people in my life, I have realized the great blessings that are received from our Heavenly Father as we seek to know him and his son, Jesus Christ. The sacrifices that Christ made through his atonement are real. I have felt many of my personal griefs and sorrows lessened through the power of the atonement. I am Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and have found the doctrines it contains to be true. As I knelt down in earnest, sincere prayer, I felt peace as I sought to know if this good book was truly the word of God. The peace that i felt was the Holy Ghost testifying to me that the Book of Mormon was true, and because the Book of Mormon was true, then the man, Joseph Smith, must be a prophet. I am Mormon because I am grateful for the knowledge of personal revelation for my life and for the life of my future family. I am grateful to have a prophet, who leads and guides us to Christ. A prophet, who through kind words and hope, teaches to me to be a little better everyday. I am free to my own choices, but I am grateful for the guidance the gospel of Jesus Christ brings to me.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As part of my purpose as a missionary, I invite all people to come unto Christ and to create a personal relationship with him. For it is only by and through the atonement of Christ, that we can truly repent and be saved in the kingdom of heaven. I help members and non-members develop more faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Yes, of course we believe in Christ! We love Christ; he is central to our ability to repent. Through the atonement of Christ, we can be forgiven of our sins and receive relief from life's pains and sorrows. Show more Show less
