Hi I'm Nate!

I'm a musician, audio engineer, and jean-shorts enthusiast. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I play guitar and sing in a rock band, and I enjoy engineering and producing records for other bands and musicians. I normally eat waffles and peanut butter for breakfast and talk about microphones and guitar amps like it's my job (I like to think it is). Playing, writing and listening to music is how I express my emotions, as I'm terrible at putting words together when I speak.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living out the teachings of the Gospel has made me a better and happier person. I came to know through reading my scriptures that Heavenly Father has a plan for me, and he will always be there for me to lean on and look towards.

How I live my faith

I simply try to act in the same way Jesus Christ would have toward everybody. I love to connect with other people and hear their stories and laugh with them. I also enjoy helping our missionaries carry out the work of the Lord in anyway I can. Being involved in the alternative/punk/hardcore sub-genre(s) of the rock music scene (where the LDS faith is not prominent in any way and the views of the Church are generally skewed), I try very hard to represent the Church in the best of lights and provide a little clarity where the lines have been blurred. Where people have questions, I do my best to answer them.
