Hi I'm Courtney Taylor

I grew up in Pleasant Grove Utah. I love to Swim! I'm currently serving my mission in Fort Worth Texas and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi I'm Courtney! I play the Trombone and love music! I played in the Crescent Super Band in High School and started playing at Snow College before my Mission. I love Jazz, I love Ska, and I love Big Bands! I love Swimming and being at the pool! My dream in life is to travel the world! I have a serious passion for Big Cities. After I have my adventure around the world... I want to be a High School Seminary teacher. But ultimately I want to be a wife and a mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised Mormon and always went to church. When I was twelve my parents separated and I threw myself into the Book of Mormon. I was always taught that reading the scriptures brings peace and that's exactly how I found happiness in my time of trial. No matter how I felt the Book of Mormon always made it better. The Book of Mormon strengthened my relationship with my Heavenly Father.Through reading I came to know of His plan for me, His love for me, and my Saviors Atonement. I'm so incredibly passionate about the scriptures! If I had a day all to myself I would sit down and just read. I'm a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is true! Because this is the Lords Kingdom! I continue to be a Mormon everyday of my life because I have felt the blessings of living the gospel. I have seen the direction it has given to my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday! At the moment I'm a full time missionary and will spend the next 18 months teaching the Gospel to the lovely people here in Texas. Before my mission I loved Seminary, I loved Church, and I loved having callings. I had a good group of friends in High School and College and we never participated in activities below the standards of the church. I'm grateful for the guidance of the youth programs growing up. My young women's leaders helped me to understand our values and live up to them. It has blessed my life so much!
