Hi I'm Tara

I grew up in Helena Montana. I love mountain biking, hiking and spending time with my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student planning on going to dental hygiene school after completing my associates degree. I grew up in a big family, I have five sisters and one brother. I love to spending time with my family. We enjoy mountain biking, hiking, just being outside, and most of all just having fun together! I love singing, playing the piano and I also love painting.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so it has always been a part of my life. I have always been a part of it and I always felt that it was true. But I do remember when I was 14 years old, I decided that if I was going to live this, I truly wanted to know for myself if it was true. I read the Book of Mormon cover to cover that year and really felt the Spirit as I read it. After finishing it, I knelt down and prayed to Heavenly Father and asked if this Book was true. I was overwhelmed by the Spirit and I could feel that it was true. I have continually felt that Spirit as I read the Book of Mormon and also in many other instances. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it is not just a church, but it is a way of life. It answers life's questions and brings joy and true happiness. I do not know where I would be without the blessing of the gospel in my life. It gives me a reason to try and be a better person each day. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ lives today. He suffered for each and everyone of us so that we can return and live with our Father after this life. He has experienced every feeling that we will ever have and is there to help us with our doubts, fears, mistakes and pains. I know that God loves each of us and we are His children. The things that are important to us are important to Him. He wants us to be happy and He wants us to return and live with Him.

How I live my faith

I love serving others. I have had the opportunity to serve as a primary teacher in my family ward. I taught the seven and eight year olds and I absolutely loved it! Right now, I am serving as the Relief Society activities chairman and I have the opportunity to help with activities and also get to know the sisters in my ward.
