Hi I'm Jean

I grew up in the Philippines. I am very interested in mathematics and in fact do well in it. And lastly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really love doing mathematics though sometimes it tires and pains me. Since I have just gone my two out of four years of college, I learned a thing or two on how to properly prove many theorems on math, especially on probability. Though, I have indeed a deep passion for math, I too love reading, especially novels. Whenever I am not using my computer or watching the TV, I just read and let my imagination go build the scenes from the novels.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that that book is true because I have read, pondered and prayed its truthfulness and I received an answer from the Lord that it is indeed true. The witness that I received was and is unmistakable and sure. I know that the answer that I received in the form of an unexplained good feeling is and cannot imitated by myself. It was from the Holy Ghost. And because the Book of Mormon is true and it contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the person who have the book as his fruit, whose name is Joseph Smith, is a true Prophet of God and the Church that he restored, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living Church upon the face of the earth. Lastly, because of the Book, i know that Jesus is the Christ. This is the unshakable "proof" that I have found to the theorem why the LDS Church is true. I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ who are separate beings but one in purpose, loves us so much that the latter sacrificed and performed himself the Atonement so that we could repent and go back to the presence of our Heavenly father. i know living the gospel of Jesus Christ, that is, having faith in Christ, continually repenting of our sins, keeping our baptismal covenants after we are baptized by water and received the gift or companionship of the Holy Ghost, and lastly enduring to the end, leads us to everlasting happiness together with our Heavenly father, Jesus Christ, friends and family.I know families and friends can be together forever because of the Atonement and thus of the temple ordinances available to us. These things I surely know. And because I know these things, I, up to now, am a Mormon. I know it. I love it. and I live it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by having my personal scripture study of an hour everyday and pray to my Heavenly Father daily . These experiences really helped me in letting out my stress and have my problems comforted when I have big ones. Also, I go to church every Sunday and there I receive additional strength that I need for the upcoming week. I am called as the young men secretary in our ward and serving these young men of ages 12-17 helped me have more love and care towards other people. In fact, I am happy and fulfilled whenever I see them to be happy and caring to one another. At times, I help our young men president to organize activities for these young men and for them to grow further physically, emotionally and spiritually.
