Hi I'm Daniel Deveraux

I was born in Maryland. I'm a soccer player. I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

Hello! My name is Daniel Deveraux, and I am about to leave on a mission to the Utah Salt Lake City West Mission this July! I come from a family of seven with two brothers and two sisters. My older sister is currently serving in the Ecuador Quito North Mission, and she is the most funny and outgoing person I know. I love my family. I think soccer is the best sport ever. I'm Mexican-American through my mother's side, and I am so excited to go and serve my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I knew that I had to gain a testimony of the truth for myself. As a child, I was taught how to pray and receive answers to my prayers. The combination of my experiences in the church and the answers to my prayers have convinced me that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the pathway to happiness. The necessary ordinances for salvation are found in he Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know we are led by a prophet of God, and that my membership in the Church bring me closer to Jesus Christ. Through Him, I can live with my family forever in the presence of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to follow God's commandments each day. I make an effort to go to church every Sunday, to take as many opportunities to serve as possible, and to be an example to others. By doing these things, I have been blessed with many friends, inside and outside of the church.
