Hi I'm Tabitha

I'm a traveler who loves different cultures. I study art. I'm currently serving a mission in Taipei, Taiwan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy cartoons and thick novels. I love a good Disney or Pixar movie. Eating food is the best, especially sweets. My favorite thing to do is to travel and meet new people. People are so interesting! Everyone has a story to share or an experience you can learn from. I've had the chance to live in three different countries and experience their cultures. It's wonderful! You learn so much and really grow as a person when you see the world through other people's eyes. I'm on a mission right now in Taipei, Taiwan sharing the good news of the gospel. Chinese is a hard language to learn, but it is so beautiful. I love it! Before my mission, I enrolled in university and began studying art and illustration. Art is so much more that clay, pencil or brush strokes. It's brilliant! Art is an amazing medium to work with because through it you can communicate complex emotion and feelings that really touch the human heart.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents brought me up as a member of this church. As a young adult I've had the opportunity to choose for myself if I wish to continue as a member of this religion. This decision was gradual as I slowly learned more about myself, my religion and the world around me. It took time, but I know that this church is true. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happier then anything I've ever known. I'm a Mormon because it gives me strength to know I never stand alone. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and loves me. He knows who I am; my name, needs and history. But the most important thing for you is that Christ knows and dearly loves you too!

How I live my faith

Living my faith is more than just going to church on Sundays. My religion permeates every part of my life. It's in the hope and happiness I feel when I begin my day and the love I express to others throughout the day. I try to express the joy I feel in my heart in everything I do so that everyone can see what my faith has given me. I have obtained this happiness by keeping the commandments following the counsel given to us through God's prophets. I refrain from drinking, swearing and other activities that I know can harm me and the people I care about most. I dress modestly and try my best to act like the person I know my Heavenly Father wants me to be. I work hard to be a loyal friend, an obedient daughter, a supportive sister and a hardworking student.
