Hi I'm Taylor Richins

I'm on my mission in Pocatello Idaho. I am a musician. I have 7 brothers and sisters and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the church my whole life. In high school I struggled with my testimony. I went to church because that's what my parents wanted me to do. I wasn't active. I didn't want to go to church, and I didn't want to be around those within it. Then I had started making some friends that were active. I truly wanted to know for myself if it was true. I remember in seminary that year we were reading the New Testament. I felt my faith grow stronger as I read all about Christ. So I decided that I wanted to read the Book of Mormon also. As I read it I would pray, and then I knew without a doubt that it was true. Something inside me told me that I already knew it was true, so why did I have to ask? A couple months later they changed the age that girls could go on a mission to 19. I prayed to know if I needed to go, if it was the right thing. I had a blessing afterwards and the man said I will have the opportunity to serve on more than one full time mission, and I knew for sure that I needed to go. SO I'm here in Idaho and finding people to teach! I love my mission and I'm so excited to be here to bring people closer to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the knowledge that I have of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love that I can live with my family forever. The gospel has given me so much peace and knowledge. I know that this church is true. I have prayed sincerely to know the truth and I can say with out a doubt that it is true. Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and knows us personally. That knowledge is amazing to me. It helps me feel comforted in everything I've been through. Pray to know the truth and you will find it.

How I live my faith

I am on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! That is how I live my faith. I wear a badge on my shirt for everyone to see. It doesn't always bring the best reactions. In fact it can be very hard. I'm human, just like everyone else. The only difference is the black tag I wear for everyone to see that I am a representative of Christ.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
