Hi I'm Abigail

I'm an athlete. I'm an artist. I'm a sister. I'm a student. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently completed my freshman year at Brigham Young University in Provo. I am majoring in industrial design and I love it! I love to sing and I play the guitar and the piano. It calms me down when life is crazy. I also love being active. Wake boarding, tubing, cliff jumping, running, field hockey. Anything to get your blood pumping! I am currently taking a break from school, friends, family and my major to serve a full time mission in France Lyon starting July 9th. It's a sacrifice, but I could not be more excited to make it and spread the gospel that I love!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel brings me an unimaginable amount of joy every day. I am a Mormon because it gives me direction and guidance in a world that pushes and pulls me in every direction. I am a Mormon because I know that I can be the very best version of myself by living the gospel fully. I am a Mormon because I have an undeniable testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I have tested it, tried it and it has only grown stronger. I know I am a literal child of God. I know that The Book of Mormon is true and hand in hand with the Bible it is the perfect guidebook to not only a happy and satisfying life, but to a life after death where I can be with my Heavenly Father forever. I know this gospel is truth and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through dedication and consistency. I am a strong believer that it's not the big things, but the small everyday acts of faith, that define and shape a person into who they truly are. Sometimes it's the smallest good decisions that are the hardest to make. I live my faith as I participate in my ward through callings. I have been the president of my young women's groups and I was recently a gospel doctrine teacher in my ward out at school. I love being a teacher and learning to use the spirit to uplift those around me. I live my faith through service. Christ is the perfect example of charity and love. When I serve and love the people I interact with it brings me closer to Christ and helps me understand the love he has for me and all his brothers and sisters. Lastly I live my faith through example. I believe the best way to live the gospel is to live it fully, love it, and show the world the joy it brings to your life. I am not ashamed. I want to world to know why I am the way I am so that they can experience the joy and light that the gospel can bring.
