Hi I'm Brock Teichert

I grew up Wyoming with 12 siblings. I love to wrestle, play football, build furniture, and do anything outdoors. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the 11th kid in a family of 13. I have been building furniture since I was 12. I love to work with my hands. My favorite sport is Wrestling. I like riding a unicycle and being involved in scouting. I lost my Dad when I was a senior in High School and it has been the biggest trial of my life. The people in my community and the members of the Church helped me and my family so much through that time. I am preparing to serve a mission in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love it! I love the comfort I receive as a member. I love the friendships I have developed over the years. I love the Book of Mormon. I love the teachings. I love the Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ and God. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am 18 and I teach the men in the church. It is a little overwhelming at times because they are all older than me, but I have learned that you can learn something from everyone. I make visits to members of the ward monthly and enjoy getting to know them better. I go to church on Sunday, but my membership doesn't stop there. I try to be an example all week long to whoever may be watching. Nothing long lasting and miraculous ever happened in one day. And your faith is the same, you can't live it on Sunday and be done for the week.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brock Teichert
The best way to know if Mormonisim is true is to first read the Book of Mormon. It is one of the books we believe in so if it is true then we are a true church. At the end in Moroni 10:4-5 it challenges us to pray to know if the book is true. This is how I learned that the Book of Mormon and Mormonisim was true. So if you really want to know if the church is true, read the Book of Mormon, and then pray sincerely to know if it is true. Show more Show less
