Hi I'm Robin

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I worked on a farm growing up and now I am going to college. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I moved for the first time in my life to go to college at Utah Valley University. I am studying behavioral science and I hope to be a high school counselor when I finish school. Going from a little town to a much larger city was scary but I was able to grow so much and learn more about who I am. I love to be outdoors and go hiking and different adventures. I love being around people. I think that you can learn so much from other people and I enjoy being able to spend time with new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church with a very strong family involved in the church. But there came a time where I had to personally decide if this religion was true and if I wanted to continue to be a member. There have been times in my life where I haven't lived how I should have and I know that through those trials and mistakes I had made I had to become more reliant on the Lord. That is when I realized that I could never stray from this gospel because of the happiness and peace it brings to me in times of trouble and happiness.

How I live my faith

I just moved away from my ward that I was attending while going to college. In that ward I was the activities leader. I had the opportunity to plan activities for the ward to attend so that everyone could get to know each other better. Now I am about to go on a mission for 18 months in the Oregon Portland Mission. I never thought I would go on a mission but after talking with my Heavenly Father, I knew that right now was the right time for me to go and share my testimony with others.
