Hi I'm Lynette Petersen

I am a Mother of three wonderful sons. I love spending time with them. I have raised my family in Idaho.. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mom of 3 boys... This is my greatest joy! I have been a Cosmetologist for 25 years. I am a country girl at heart and love to be outdoors. I am a hard worker and therefore I love to be busy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a family that were already Mormon. I am grateful for that in my life. I grew up going to church each Sunday and learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Primary, Sunday School and sacrament meeting. I have always had a testimony. I am not perfect, but I found that this Church gives me a solid foundation of beliefs that never change. I have 2 loving parents that taught me to live righteously and keep my standards high and to respect myself and never give in to the temptations of the adversary. Pure pressure was so much easier to avoid or to say no to when you pray each day and try to live the commandments of God. I have always liked the saying 'Do we fear man more than God?' Who would we choose to follow...the temporary happiness or the eternal happiness. I love this gospel with all my heart and I know it will bring true happiness to those who truly choose to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I have a very strong Testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I work with the Youth in our Ward. Mainly the Young Women. We work on service projects, learning to sew, cook, all the things that could help them be great Mothers someday. We work on values such as Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Knowledge, Choice and Accountability, Good works, Integrity, and Virtue. We strive to live these virtues everyday. I love woking with the Youth because they have such a great spirit about them and are so willing to learn and want to be better.
