Hi I'm Mariana

I grew up in Brazil. I'm studying to be a teacher and I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a daughter and sister. I love my family, and they support me in everything. I do love music. I play piano and flute, and I am so glad for these gifts. I study Education in college, and I really like to use music to teach kids and catch them attention. I love travelling, especially with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

If I had to answer this question some years ago, I probably could not. But now, I can answer that I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is the same church that Jesus started when He was here on earth. When I feel weak, I pray, and I can feel my Savior's love. I know that God listen to my prays, that Him answers my questions and keeps confirming that this is His true Gospel. He never leaves me alone, and I know that He will never leave.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to live my faith serving my stake youth and their ward leaders. I help to plan and organize activities for them, and teach and help theirs leaders. I'm so glad to serve with incredible women who teaches me and makes me grow. I always say to the young ladies that Heavenly Father call me to serve them not because they need, but because I have to learn with them. They are amazing and faithful girls. I also help some times with the kids choir, and my ward choir. And I love it, because I can feel so strong the Spirit. And me and my mom, we visit four lovely women from our ward.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. We try to help everyone we can. The Church has a humanitarian programs to help people from different countries. We all are child's of God. If we want to serve the Lord, we have to serve all His children. Missionary work is also a way to help people, specially non members. Show more Show less
