Hi I'm Easton Potokar

I'm from Utah. I play soccer, yoyo, run and love physics and math. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being active; I play soccer, basketball, run, and enjoy the outdoors. I try to be out as much as possible. I also compete in VEX Robotics. I plan on being a mechanical engineer and will attend my first semester at BYU in Fall 2016. Until that time, I'll be serving an LDS mission to the Dominican Republic. I'm excited and ready to bring the world his truth.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings me comfort in my everyday life. Christ is my big brother and ALWAYS understands what I'm going through; I turn to him for comfort many times a week. I'm a Mormon because I need the Priesthood in my life. It's God's power on the Earth today, and through my faith I know anything is possible through it. I'm a Mormon because I love my family. I want to be with them forever, and that's a large thing the church gives to me. I will see my family again after this life. There's no endings only "everlasting beginnings."

How I live my faith

I participate in our young men's activities every week with the other boys my age. I frequently discuss gospel principles and doctrine with family and close friends. I read the scriptures daily; I especially love reading and studying from the Book of Mormon. I do my best to continually pray; whenever I need help, comfort or feel a need to thank my Heavenly Father I do no matter where I am. There's so much to thank him for as well. I also try to be an example to those around me; I know as a Latter-Day Saint I represent Him and his church through my actions, speech, and thoughts.
