Hi I'm Rebekah

I was born in California, but raised in Arizona. I'm a future missionary for the Alabama Birmingham Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Yuma, it was always the plan to join the Marines after high school. After the age change for LDS missionaries I decided to put things on hold and serve a mission. I have been living with my sister for the past year to help her with her vision impairment and working two jobs to save money. I box and play soccer to stay in PFT shape. Even with a busy schedule I try to make time to visit my six older siblings and ten nieces and nephews. I love my beautiful family!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. This always made it even more important to me to want to gain a testimony and figure out for my self if it was true. The many times I have felt the spirit and seen little miracles in my life have helped me to do that. Both my parents are converts and so they raised me making sure I knew that I had agency to choose whether or not to attend church or make good decisions. Knowing I was doing good things because I wanted to made my testimony stronger. I know this church is true and that it has improved my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a ward missionary and helping to teach those interested in learning more or continuing to learn about the church. I try to live my live to be an example of a Disciple of Jesus Christ. To me this means being kind and loving to everyone; to always be willing to serve someone in need.
