Hi I'm Sam

I love to go skiing and love music! I am Currently serving as missionary in the England Manchester Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Bluffdale, Utah. I have 9 siblings in my family! Having such a big family is so great. One of my favorite things to do is to play the saxophone. Marching band, Symphonic band and Jazz band were my favorite parts of high school. I also love to go skiing! I have been skiing since I was seven. It really is one of the greatest sports in my opinion! Before I came out on a mission I was going to college and was studying to become an electrical engineer. I have always been fasinated by electricity and how it all works!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the single true church here on Earth. I have come to know that God really is there and he cares and loves each of us. I have developed such a strong conviction in how living the teachings of this church changes lives as I have seen such changes in many others' lives being on a mission and most importantly I have seen such changes in my own life. Ever since I was little I believed that this was a good church and that it was probably true because my family and friends all belived in it so it must have been true, but I didn't know for myself because I never really sought to find out for myself. Eventually I couldn't just piggyback off the belief of those around me and I really had to finally find out for myself. The thing that really made me devolop my own testimony was when I finally read the Book of Mormon on my own and prayed to know whether God was there or not and whether the Book of Mormon was really the word of God. I got my answer and here I am today, in England, on a Mission.

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by serving on a mission in the England Manchester Mission. It has been the most challenging yet rewarding experience of my life so far to be able to share with other what I believe and invite the unto come unto Christ. I also try and live my faith by trying every day to follow Jesus Christ by learning of him and trying to apply the things I learn into my own life. I am definitely not even close to being perfect but I have seen so many changes in my life as I try and be a better person every day and I just feel happier and happier as I see myself making progress.
