Hi I'm Trisha

I was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. I am discovering the world and my place in it. First stop Mission. I am a mormon.

About Me

I have been born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I figured out early on in life that the church was true. It is my anchor and my happiness. My family and those I love are my whole world. I have been able to watch my older siblings enter the temple and be sealed for time and all eternity. I want nothing more than to create and eternal family of my own. Up until this point in my life I have been mostly oblivious to the world around me. I knew what I wanted and how I was going to get it. All was on track until I graduated high school and went away to college. All of a sudden my whole world came crashing down & I began to question who I was, who I wanted to be, and why the world is the way it is. I looked all many courses of action and found myself at a place that was very lonely. My heavenly father helped me to recognize that I am more than good grades and secular success. I am his daughter and he knows me. He told me that I need to leave for a year and a half and serve him through teaching my fellow men. I never thought that I would be serving a mission. When I was 8 years old my sister was leaving on her mission. I looked at her and thought "wow my sister is so great to serve a mission, I will never do that." Little did I know the Lord had different plans for me. I am excited and ready for this next chapter in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

In about 9th grade I looked at my actions and the person I was becoming and I didn't like what I saw. I sat down and made some decisions. I will not lower my standards to fit in. I will always stand as a witness of God. I know who I am and I know God's plan and I will share that testimony through my example. I like who I am and how I feel when I obey God's commandments and strive to become more like my savior, Jesus Christ. I feel happy and I can share that with others.

How I live my faith

Over the past years I have served in various youth presidencies. We have planned fun and wholesome activities. We invited young people to get together and teach each other through example. In the community I spend lots of time in Elementary classrooms. I work with struggling students and help them to gain confidence and find a love for learning. It is important to me that I live up to my standards no matter the circumstances.
