Hi I'm William

I'm a physician. I'm retired. And, I'm serving a mission in Central America.

About Me

I'm a 4th generation physician (internist). I went to medical school in Mexico where I was introduced to the Church and met the love of my life - my wife. I enjoy reading books, sailing, automobiles, and tennis. I'm the father of two children - a son and a daughter. I have eight grandchildren whom I love to spoil.

Why I am a Mormon

My father belonged to the Christian church. My mother was a Episcopalian. When they were married, they decided to raise us in the Presbyterian church. I attended an Episcopalian prep school and college, and subsequently became thoroughly confused. During medical school, I met some people who were always happy and I wanted to know why. They were Mormons. I investigated the church and after fasting and prayer, I found that the Lord's church had been restored to the Earth. It was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission for the Church in Central America as a medical advisor. I've previously served as a Bishop and a Branch President. I love to visit families and/or individuals in my congregation who are in need of help or a listening ear.
