Hi I'm Daniel

I'm from Provo. I read, play music, and play video games.

About Me

I'm an only child from a poor family, and I'm rather introverted. I enjoy music (I tinker around with a guitar and piano), video games, martial arts, reading, and basically doing anything with friends. I have an Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering; still not sure if I want to pursue that major. But, knowing me, I'll probably have a Master's degree and be a veteran engineer, and still not be sure I'm making the right choice...

Why I am a Mormon

I've attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since I was a child, but it wasn't until middle school that I started thinking seriously about what I believed and wanted to know. My life had suddenly been thrown into turmoil, most of it my own fault, and I had to make some big decisions about where I wanted to go. Making up my mind took a lot of time, prayer, and study in the Bible and Book of Mormon, but I decided to show a little trust in the feelings of peace and comfort that enfolded my heart whenever I honestly prayed. The years have still been rocky as I've made some tough changes. God encourages us to do little things that matter, and daily decisions and acts of kindness are what brings us the most happiness.

How I live my faith

I've served for the last year or so leading the music in our Sunday services, but am leaving on a 2 year mission to Honduras soon. I also participate in Home Teaching, where 2 companions visit with local members and their families each month, often sharing an inspirational message.
